Green Agritainment Webinar to present project results and training tools for VET Trainers

Following the successful completion of pilot activities carried out across partner countries, the Green Agritainment consortium is preparing the next important step in the dissemination of project results: an international webinar dedicated to sharing experiences, methodologies, and educational resources developed throughout the project.

The webinar, entitled “Designing Edutainment for Green Agritourism: Training Tools for VET Trainers”, will take place online on 15 July 2026 from 15:00 to 16:00 CET.

As the project approaches the conclusion of Work Package 4, this event will provide an opportunity to present the outcomes of the testing phase and to showcase how Agritainment methodologies can support sustainability education within agritourism environments.

From Pilot Activities to European Dissemination

During Work Package 4, project partners organised and tested a variety of educational activities designed to strengthen environmental awareness, promote sustainable behaviours, and encourage meaningful engagement with nature. The pilot activities demonstrated how experiential learning, outdoor education, and creative participation can contribute to the development of green competences among different target groups. The webinar will present examples of these activities and highlight the lessons learned during their implementation.

Supporting Innovation in Vocational Education and Training

One of the main objectives of the Green Agritainment project is to provide vocational education and training professionals with practical tools that can be adapted to different learning environments. Participants attending the webinar will discover innovative approaches that combine education, entertainment, sustainability, and agritourism. Particular attention will be given to educational activities that encourage active participation, environmental responsibility, and stronger connections between people and the natural world.

Sharing Good Practices Across Europe

The webinar will also serve as a platform for exchanging experiences among project partners and stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about good practices developed during the project and explore how Agritainment methodologies can be implemented in different educational and tourism contexts. By bringing together educators, trainers, agritourism professionals, and sustainability advocates, the event contributes to the wider dissemination of project results and supports the development of innovative approaches to environmental education.

Looking Ahead

As Green Agritainment moves towards its final stages, the webinar represents an important opportunity to share achievements, encourage collaboration, and promote the long-term sustainability of the project’s outcomes. The event reflects the project’s commitment to creating engaging learning experiences that connect education, nature, and sustainability while supporting the future development of green skills across Europe.

This webinar offers a valuable opportunity to connect with European experts and project partners, exchange ideas, and discover how agritourism can become a powerful tool for learning, community engagement, and sustainable rural development.
