This is one of the main goals of the Green Agritainment project: transforming agritourism into an interactive learning environment where visitors can discover sustainability through participation, creativity, and real rural experiences.

Today, agritourism is evolving across Europe. Farms are becoming places where education, tourism, local culture, and environmental awareness come together in a natural and engaging way.

Through the Green Agritainment project, innovative educational activities are helping agritourism professionals create experiences that inspire visitors while promoting sustainable values.

Visitors can explore local products, discover biodiversity, participate in sensory activities, learn about food origins, and reconnect with nature through direct experience.

This experiential approach helps people develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and rural life.

The project also supports VET learners and agritourism professionals by providing practical methodologies, educational tools, and digital learning resources that can be directly applied in real agritourism environments.

One of the strengths of the project is its focus on active participation. People learn more effectively when they are emotionally involved, curious, and connected to the experience itself.

By combining education with tourism and entertainment, Green Agritainment promotes a more sustainable and human-centered vision for the future of rural tourism in Europe.
