A GreenComp-based competence model and micro-credentials for Green Agritainment

How do you prove that someone knows how to design a green edutainment experience? Skills that are learned on a farm, through practice, are real — but they are hard to show on a CV. This is the problem the Green Agritainment project set out to solve with its GreenComp-based model of competences and its micro-credential model, both now freely available for download.
Built on research, not assumptions
The model was not written at a desk. It is based on desk and field research measuring the actual training gaps of agritourism businesses, involving 120 respondents across the partner countries. The result is a competence framework aligned with GreenComp, the European sustainability competence framework, which describes exactly which knowledge, skills and attitudes an operator or trainer needs to deliver effective green agritainment.
From competences to micro-credentials
On top of the competence model, the project designed a validated micro-credential with defined learning outcomes. Micro-credentials are one of the most important innovations in European VET today: they make small, focused units of learning visible, portable and recognisable. For VET centres, the model offers a ready-made template to certify green agritainment skills; for learners, it turns practical experience into something they can show to employers.
A flexible toolkit for VET centres
Everything is modular by design. VET centres and trainers can adopt the full framework or adapt individual components — the competence model, the micro-credential design, the SWOT analysis, or the Atlas of over 100 training practices that complements them. The documents are available in English, Bulgarian, Greek, Italian and Romanian.
