Green Agritainment

VET strategies for Edutainment in European Agritourism

Artisanal honey workshop

Artisanal honey workshop

Tradition and Innovation

In this training activity dedicated to the world of beekeeping, participants discover how edutainment can transform a simple lesson into a rich, exciting, and deeply educational experience.

The workshop takes place on a local farm specializing in artisanal honey production.

Here, students learn to recognize different honey varieties, observe hive organization, discover the role of bees in ecosystem protection, and understand the importance of pollination for European crops.

At the end of the activity, participants take part in a guided tasting and a creative exercise that encourages them to imagine new ways to communicate the value of local honey to visitors and consumers.

This experience perfectly highlights the mission of the Green Agritainment project: combining agricultural tradition, sustainability, and innovative VET training tools.

👉🏻If you’re a VET Trainer, manage an agritourism business, or run a farm, learn how to use edutainment on farms with other experiences like this, practical exercises, and training for trainers.
